Pretty neat blog you have here. I liked the layout and widgets; most importantly the content and its theme.

Babu - Loka Samastha Sukhino Bhavanthu. Let us not hate him :-)

Chakky - A fable for the sake of a fable doesn't do any good for anyone :-) All fables are to be linked to real life and to be munched over action. This includes even famous Aesop's fables, even though they involve animals as characters. I am against neither Bush nor Saddam. Whoever destroys humanity should be hanged to death. At the same time, I watched the documentary "No end in sight", which reveals (with proof) that Bush could have mended those shoes in time, even after Saddam's death. My political knowledge is not deep enough to explain his second term, though Michael Moore's documentary, "fahrenheit 9/11" has an explanation about first, which is purely because of the specialty of US election system.

A typical reaction to Bush. But I am surprised to see this story. Its interesting to hear the fable, but when it ended linking it with Bush, the story lost its charm.

People waste so much energy and time on Bush. If his performance was that bad, ignore him. Dont give him this much publicity,,

As a refugee from the Gulf War, I am glad that Saddam was hanged by the very same America that provided it its military might in the first place. Iraq as a nation from centuries has been war ravaged and torn, its not Bush's alone doing that there are so many orphans, widows there. No one throws the shoes at Saddam who did that to Kuwait as well as his own people. Its always easy to point the blame at others and throw shoes at them.

Bush is no saint and he may not be the best man alive but if 300 million americans chose him for 10 years of service in a democratic country whether through rigging or through hoodwinking, it speaks more of a world where power is respected irrespective of the nations..

That was a warm farewell for him.. and most likely, in the future, much bigger insults and even an assassination is waiting him in return to what he has done in the past in Iraq and other places.

Good story to remember at this time..
